Afternoon Lunch

Can't deny it a single bit that I'm a major foodie. Lunch is my favorite meal of the day, and nothing beats a nice fancy lunch other than a great view with a bright sun, as well as a variety of food of course! Not to mention I have a heck of a sweet tooth too, so trying not to snack on something sweet following what I find to be one of the most important meals of the day that keep you going, is really, really hard sometimes when you just want a soft yet sweet flavor...

Have I mentioned yet that Blueberry Muffins are my all-time favorite?

If there's one thing that's a known fact about me, it's that I simply adore other cultures. Since this summer has been mostly work, work, work for me, I'm always daydreaming of vacation, and one of my ideal vacation spots I dream of visiting one day is none other than France itself. Although my current budget and situation doesn't allow me to actually travel right now in real life, I feel right at home relaxing in Second Life in my new France-inspired house from Roost Homes, with an entry way so welcoming that I may never want to leave.

The best part of the day is coming home from a long, stressful night at work,

Y'all, I'm having those summer withdrawls again. Not to mention between working and an ER trip this week, I've been kinda bound to my bed and let me tell you, stomach bugs are no joke. While laying in bed recovering from a bad stomach virus for the past couple days, I was literally dreaming of laying by the pool, and I was the Lifeguard, at that! Thought it'd be pretty cool except I really don't know the first thing about saving people, granted I can look pretty good playing the part dressed as a hot summer Baywatch Babe, an awesome made bundle by {Old Barn Door}, and this amazing Coastal Pool Set that she also made, which looks great in any backyard or on any beach!

So I am currently a bit of a nomad on Second Life momentarily while I await out the gamble that is to acquire a new Linden home, and while I'm exploring around the grid, I have come across some pretty places recently, especially well decorated places to take pictures at, and some of these places I can even put down my own things to snap a picture of, so while I was at the Netherwood sim recently I set up a few things and ta-da! Now only if I could live on the sim... :)

Chasing the Sun

It's not every day you get to take a picture with one of the best bloggers you know, it's kind of like meeting a celebrity, especially when your picture comes out nothing compared to hers but you're certainly trying to up your game. Granted I've still got a long way to go before I even get close to Melly's level of awesomeness, it's nice to watch and learn from someone so incredibly talented and try to improve on my own skills. Thank you so much for this opportunity to pose with you and take such an amazing picture!

So I can't even lie about this, working over the summer has seriously has me having some serious summer pool withdrawals and I'm telling you, I'm literally a fish out of water growing up, I think I was possibly meant to be a mermaid in another life considering how much I love the water. Whether it be a beachfront tide or a local pool in town, I am always up for a swim, and what better way to enjoy the pool other than a #Selfie or two, or three? Sail Away

Sometimes you just need a beach day, a little break from all the stressful things around you. My personal favorite thing is to lay out on the beach with a good book and get lost in the day, enjoying the sun. Even though I'm working a lot in real life lately, I am definitely soaking up as much of the beach as I can in Second Life.
